Work Exchange Program

Work Exchange Program participants help support our conference in big ways! We could not do this without them! In exchange service hours during the conference, work exchange members receive registration credits (discounts) that offset their cost to attend. 

EXCHANGE OPTIONS

6 hours of service = $100  discount

10 hours of service = $200 discount*

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Work Exchange Program participants must choose a registration that includes lodging. Commuters are not eligible for work exchange opportunities.

EXPECATIONS
Work Exchange participants are critical for the success of our event. Punctuality and dependability are essential, as well as flexibility. While we will honor your task preferences to the extent possible, ALL work exchange participants must be willing to work in any position needed. You will receive an in-advance assignment, however unexpected things could occur during the conference that would cause us to need your assistance in a different spot. Most shifts require standing, walking, and light lifting. If you need a stationary opportunity, we will do our best to
accommodate if you let us know in advance. Any concerns about expectations should be discussed before entering into a Work Exchange Program Agreement.

IMPORTANT NOTE

We cannot "hold" work exchange spots. We only have a few and they typically fill up quickly. Once you are approved, you will need to be prepared to register within 2 weeks of approval or you will need to reapply. If the conference is less than 30 days away when you are approved, registration will be required within 48 hours of approval.

Email us and include "2023 Work Exchange" as your email subject. In your email, include all of the following:

1. Are you interested in the 6-hour or 10-hour option? (The 10-hour option is open to past volunteers and special approvals only)

2. Which opportunity is your first preference (registration, parking, dining hall)? Update: the dining hall spots are almost full.

​

3. Are there any limitations, injuries, or personal needs you have that we need to consider to be able to match you to an appropriate work exchange position?

​

4. Which lodging option will you be registering for (camping, shared cabin, or private cabin)?

​

5. What experience or qualifications do you have that would support you as a volunteer? For example, have you volunteered at community events?
