Presenters & Workshops

Interested in teaching at the 2021 Midsouth Women's Herbal Conference? We'd love to hear from you! Please read the information below and if you are still interested, download the workshop proposal packet, complete the proposal form, and email it to us.

 

Presenter Eligibility

  • Presenter must have experience leading classes or workshops, either through her own service or at other events. References will be requested.

  • Presenter must have lived experience and/or education related to topic of workshop.

  • Presenter must be able to provide copies of handouts/supplies (if applicable) to participants.

  • Presenter must be willing to be photographed and/or videoed, unless there is a ceremonial component of class or confidential information sharing will occur.

 

2021 Presenter Information and Benefits

  • Presenters will receive complimentary registration, lodging (including Thursday night if needed), parking and 5 meals.

  • Presenters are eligible to vend at a discounted rate of $25/table. Presenters are welcome to share a table with another presenter and only pay one fee if that is helpful.

  • Presenters are eligible for one discounted (guest) registration at 50% off registration.

  • Presenters may be eligible to receive honorariums or travel stipends depending on a variety of factors.

 

2021 Submission Guidelines

  • All requested information in the form that follows is required for consideration

  • Submissions are due by August 28, 2020. No late applications will be considered unless we do not receive an adequate number of submissions by the deadline.

  • While we are not requesting copies of all of your material as part of the application process, we need a very descriptive summary of your workshop including detailed learning objectives and sources of your content.
